Angela D. Byers, age 49 of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

Angela Walker Byers, born June 24, 1972, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Betty Walker and Vernon Walker, Sr., confessed her hope in Christ at an early age and continued to serve the Lord until she departed this life on August 24, 2021.

Angela was a private home care provider for over 2 years until her health declined. Angela had a smile that enlightened the hearts of many; she loved entertaining family and friends and was loved by many, even strangers. Angela spoke what was on her mind and kept you laughing. She was always a joy to her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father Vernon Walker Sr.; her mother Betty Perry Walker; her grandmother Luvenia Perry; her grandfather James Jerry Perry; and her aunt Katherine Jones.

Angela leaves a lasting impression in the hearts of her 2 daughters Nakira Byers and India Byers; son Akiel Byers all of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sisters April (Michael Harris) Walker; Winter (Patrick Jones) Walker-Jones all of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Veronica Walker of Chicago, IL, Gwenn Stafford of Colorado; 2 brothers Shawn Walker of Milwaukee, WI, and Jerry Walker of Indianapolis; 1 aunt Clementine Perry of Truman, Arkansas; 2 uncles David (Toni Perry) Perry of Conway, Arkansas, Dewayne Perry of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Anthony Perry of Memphis, Tennessee; best friend Keturah Linwood; and grandkids Dontae Byers, Kamryn Byers, Kilik Byers, Kayson Byers, and Kennedy Byers all of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones best friends. Angela will truly be missed.
