Obituary

Angela Lavone Woodley-Smith, age 56 of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away on October 28, 2020. She was born February 2, 1964, in Prescott, Arkansas to Nadine Gillard and George June Woodley Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Marvin Smith; her grandparents, Bill and Catherine Gillard, and Lucinda Moss and George June Woodley, Sr.; and her uncles Genous Gillard, Ira Cleve Gillard; her aunt, Carolyn Gillard; her sister, Gwendolyn Curry; her youngest brother, Rodrick M. Walker; and her grandson, Parker Avery Berry.

Angela accepted Christ at an early age at Munn's Chapel First Baptist Church in Prescott, AR. She continued to worship at Eureka Baptist Church in Hot Springs, AR.  Angela was a part of of the class of 1982 at Prescott High School. After high school, she trained to become a CNA, and for over 19 years she provided care to individuals in need in Hot Springs, Prescott, and Hope.

Angela came from a large family. She was the youngest of seven siblings. She will be remembered by those she loved dearly. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Tanisha R. Woodley (Antonio S. Remley Sr.), and their children AJ & Micheal; Oceana J. Smith (Darrin Berry), and their children Kyley & Avery; Kelly R. Martin (Clarence Buckley), and their children Audreal, Tray, Sanai, Madisyn; Dominique Smith Williams (Keiyon Williams)and their son Davion. her special adopted son, Omas Lollis; her siblings, Brenda K. Gillard of Hope, AR, Terry W. Woodley, Sr. (Carolyn), Johnny R. Woodley, and Connie Jo Ann Woodley-Tribbet (Michael Sr.) all of Prescott, AR; her special cousins, Wanye Gillard (Lisa), James Gillard both of Prescott AR, Doroth White (Otis) of Detroit, MI, Teresa Zabilski (Greg) of Chicago, IL, and Pete Gillard of South Carolina; her special aunt and uncle, Francis Hendrix of Prescott, AR and Lee Gillard of Chicago, IL; her bonus babies;  her nieces and nephews; a host of family members and friends.

Message from Children
