Antonia "Toni" Patterson in her 82 ^nd season of life made a peaceful transition to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at National Park Medical Center, Hot Springs, AR.  She was born December 14, 1935 in Cotton Plant, AR to L.T.  And Margret Hurd Buchanan.  They preceded her in death as well as her husband, Willis Patterson (September 11, 2017); siblings, Luther, T. Willie, Lee, and Wade Buchanan, Dorothy Samuels and Marie Dunbar.

She retired from Borg Warner Company in Chicago, IL. After moving to Hot Springs, she worked for Sears from which she also retired.  She later worked for the Hot Springs Convention Center and again she retired.

Toni was a member of the White Orchid Social Club, the Rosette Social Club and several bowling leagues. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, a great mother to her daughters and an awesome granny to her grandchildren.  She loved and adored all of her family.

Those left to remember her in love include her daughters, Cynthia Brown of Hot Springs, Paulette Patterson of Denver, CO and Rhonda (Pete) Johnson of Gilberts, IL; grandchildren, Antonia Brown, De'Andre Patterson, Jason Brown, Anthony Smith, Richard Patterson, Julian Brown and Daryl Tate; two great grandchildren; her sisters, Jewel Wiltz and Vivian Parham both of Chicago, IL;  brother-in-law, Raymond Smith of Foreman and one sister-in-law, Velma Lee  (Mack) Ford of Gilberts, IL; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 23, 2018 at Cottrell Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church 698 East Grand Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at 1:00 PM in the Arkansas States Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, AR.
