Antramon Ju'var Ford, 30, departed this life on September 15, 2021, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Antramon was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Artha L. Murphy; his paternal grandparents, Earlene and Bertha Ford; and his aunt, Linda Marshall.
Antramon was born on October 15, 1990, in Hot Springs to Anthony Ford and Lorna Murphy. Antramon accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Union Missionary Baptist Church—Hot Springs. He spent his preteen and teenage years living in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his GED and was employed in various aspects of the restaurant and food processing industries in Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas.
Antramon was known for his laughter and his love. He always had a joke to say or enjoyed hearing one, accompanied by his laughter that easily filled the room. Antramon also exhibited a deep love for his family and friends, one that grew even deeper with the birth of his two daughters along with parenting his step-daughter, whom he adored. In addition to his love for his family, he also had a love for his friends. In his spare time, Antramon enjoyed reading and watching movies, his favorite ones repeatedly.
His laughter and love will be cherished by his children: Jah'Ziya McGee, A'Mari Ford, and Journy Ford of Bryan TX; the mother of his children: Ashley McGraw of Bryan, TX; his mother Lorna Murphy (James) and father Anthony Ford, both of Hot Springs, AR; his siblings: Shahita Todd (Pastor Christopher) of Alexander City, AL, Anthony Ford Jr. of Hot Springs, AR, LaCresiar White (Torrey) of Union City, GA, Miriam Ford, Moriah Ford, and Faith Ford-Lofton (Lee) of Hot Springs, AR; aunts and uncles: Wanda Barnes, Sharon Tigner (Pastor Marvin), Caroline Murphy, Denine Hill, Grace Brooks (Jim), Alonzo Ford, James Ford, Aaron Gordon, Gary Gordon, Ola Mae Mitchell, Joyce Turner, Lucille Burns, Linda Toatley;special aunt: Vernis "Pep" Marlow, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 9-10 a.m. at the Carrigan Memorial Funeral Home 336 E Grand Ave., Hot Springs, AR 71901. Graveside service Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Crestview Cemetery with Pastor Marvin Tigner and Pastor Christopher M. Todd officiating.
