Arthur Hannah Sr, 81, of Pacoima, passed away on January 9, 2021 in Pacoima, California. Arthur is preceded in death by his parents Vinie and Floyd Hannah Sr. Sisters: Mae Alma Walker-Hannah, Georgia Mae Scott; Flora Duncan and Margaret Hannah. Brothers: Frank Hannah, Otis Hannah, Fred Hannah, Floyd Hannah Jr., and Charles (Pee Wee) Hannah.

Arthur Hannah was born in Belzoni, Mississippi to Floyd Sr. and Vinie Hannah on September 15, 1939.  He went to school at Goldstein Elementary then Langston High School.  He married Essie Lee Belcher in March of 1963 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  He was employed as a sheet metal worker for Nordskog Industries, Inc for 20 years.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Germany.  He was involved with helping to distribute food to those in need and assisting friends and family in any way needed. He loved looking sharp. He loved music of all kinds (especially the Blues). He loved planting and growing everything. Most of all he loved FAMILY.

Arthur is survived by friend and ex-wife Essie L. Hannah: Children Yonia F. Hannah, Sonja R. Hannah, Honja M. Hannah, Arthur Hannah, Jr, and Gerrick D. Hannah: Sister, Vina Mae Cook: Grandchildren Terille L.A. Brown, Lamar R. Hannah, Arniesha N. Tipler, Ashley R. Hannah and great-Grandchildren, Riley L. Hannah, and A'laiyah Jones: A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many, many friends.
