Obituary

Arthur J. Oliver, age 78, of Hot Springs, passed away on June 6, 2021, at National Park Medical Center. He was born to Bernice Miles on March 9, 1942, in Pine Bluff Arkansas.

Art is proceeded in death by his mother, one daughter; Andrell Densie Oliver (June 1, 2011), and cousin; Loretta Fells.
Arthur attended schools in Vallejo Ca. After his schooling, He began working at UC Davis in Davis California, after just 5 yrs he started working at C&H Sugar in 1968 in Crockett Ca, in the midst of it all he met Ruby, and in 1971 they became one, they shared 50 wonderful years together, Arthur retired after 30 years with C&H . Art loved the Dallas Cowboys, if you ever had the pleasure to go shopping with him, you knew Art was never in a hurry when it came to clothes and shoes. Jen says, growing up their home was an open door full of entertaining, dancing, Art was the life of the party and the Best Cook.
Art leaves to cherish his memories with his loving Wife; Ruby Oliver, one daughter; Jennifer Oliver, Grandson's Jamire (Juju) & Jacarri (Mr. Cool) all of Hot Springs AR. His brother; Valentino (Starr) Miles of San Francisco Ca, Sister; Laveda Anderson of Vallejo Ca, Cousins; RoyLee Oliver, Everett Lee Oliver, Freddie Oliver all of Madera CA, Jean Johnson of Fairfield CA, Mother-in-law Pearl Arberry of Hot Springs, AR, Sister-in-law's Doris (Joe) White of Philadelphia, Marslene (Gerald) Honroe of Michigan, Shirley Arberry Hot Springs, AR, Brother in law's, Leland Fitzpatrick, James (Sarah) Fitzpatrick, Frankie Arberry all of Hot Springs, AR, Numerous nieces, and nephews host of friends in Vallejo California.
The Oliver & Geddins family would like to extend our sincere thanks, to everyone who has called, texted, reached out on social media, or reached out in any way during this difficult time.
