Barbara Jean Crisp age 64 of Hot Springs, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020.  She was born September 25, 1955, in New Albany, IN to Doyle and Margaret Pumphrey Barkemeyer. They preceded her in death as well as two daughters, Lori Brown, and Billie Jean "B.J." Brice; her siblings, Connie Gossett, and Paula Barkemeyer.
Barbara was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She worked in the medical field as a C.N.A. for many years.  She was loved by her family and was known as "Nanny" to her grandchildren.
Her passing has left a void in the heart of her family who will cherish her memories forever.  Survivors include her husband, Steven Crisp; one son, Kenneth (Shawn) House, and Stephaine Brice; her grandchildren, Amy Herndon, Morgan Brown, Ashleigh Brown, Kenneth Tyler House, Aaron Brice, Ryan Brice, Keyanna Brice, Jada Wood, Kennedy Schrader, and Kloey Deal; her siblings, Jerry (Daisy) Barkemeyer, George ( Tammy) Barkemeyer, Evelyn Wesner, Anita Sarles, and Kathy Barkemeyer; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1075 Fox Pass Cutoff, Hot Springs, AR with Pastor Harold Elder officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until service time.  Burial will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 11, 2020, in Cypert Cemetery, Marvel, AR.
