Beatrice Antionette Simmons, affectionately known as "Shorty," 46, transitioned on Thursday, May 22, 2024. She was born on July 3, 1977, in Sacramento, CA, and most recently resided in North Little Rock, AR.

One of Beatrice's greatest joys in life was spending time with her four beloved children: Christina Cain, Isaiah Simmons, Mattie Simmons, and Elijah Seeley. They brought her immense happiness and were the center of her world. Beatrice was immensely proud to watch her children become parents themselves. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.

Beatrice is survived by her loving parents, Rita Morales and Herman Simmons, as well as her five sisters and one brother. Family meant everything to Beatrice, and she cherished the special bond she shared with her siblings.

In her free time, Beatrice loved nothing more than doting on her two beautiful grandchildren, Maliyah and Tayden. They brought light into her life and filled her heart with joy.

Beatrice will be remembered for her kind and loving nature, as well as her devotion to her family.  May she rest in peace.

She will return home for a memorial service at a later date.
