Billy Ray Washington "Sacky", age 61, transitioned peacefully to his heavenly home on the 16th day of July in 2020.

Billy was born on June 23, 1959, in Hot Springs. AR to the late Velma Washington and Roosevelt Turner. He is preceded in death by his sister Oletha Smith; and brother Vincent Washington.

Billy was a veteran, he proudly served our country for many years.

Billy was a member Cottrell CME Church.

Sacky, as everyone knew him he had a love for Dallas Cowboys, dancing most of all the heart for cooking.

The memory of Billy will live on his sons, Billy Washington Jr, Balique W ashington; his daughter, Deidra Atkinson all of Hot Springs, AR; stepdaughters,  Lotoya Portlock of Hot Springs, AR, Latrisha Portlock of Hot Springs, AR,  sisters, Stella Fields of Hot Springs, AR, Brenda Washington, Hot Springs, AR, Sheila Washington (Thompson) of Chicago, IL, Angela Washington of Hot Springs, AR. He also leaves fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, his special friend Buffie, other family and friends.

Memorial services, July 25, 2020, 3:00-4:00 pm am at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services, Inc. Repass will be immediately following At Whittington Park. Masks are required to enter the funeral and should be worn at all times. All COVID-19 guidelines will be adhered to and will be strictly enforced.
