Bonalea K. "Bonnie" Berg age 65, of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was born September 18, 1951 in Lancaster, PA to Richard E. and Arvella Loht Rutter. They preceded her in death as well as her brother, Norman Rutter.
Bonnie as she was known to most loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was a former bookkeeper for several companies and managed check cashing companies. She was a bookkeeper and worked the lounge for Purity Bar B Q for many years. Bonnie loved to read, travel and she loved her family. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her son, Joshua (Angela) Berg of Hot Springs and her daughter, Raney Berg of Midland, TX; one sister, Diane (Ron) Walters of Hot Springs; two brothers, Richard (Bonnie) Rutter of Akron, PA and Donald (Kathy) Rutter of Ephrata, PA; her grandchildren, Destiny, Braylee, Brayden and Ashton Berg; a host of nieces and nephews including, Allison (Olivia) Carpenter and Debbie Geurin and a host of extended family and friends
A memorial celebration will be held, 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Garland Nursing & Rehab Center with Angela Humphreys and Brother Billy E. Blackmon officiating. A repass will follow at 110 Ridgeview Street.
In lieu of contributions are requested to gofundme.com under Bonnie Berg to offset expenses. All donations over the cost of funeral will be given to Dierksen Hospice and Garland Nursing & Rehab Activity Fund.
