Sis. Brenda Gale Harrington Green, 57, of Hot Springs passed away on May 9, 2024.  She was born May 12, 1966, to Supt. Robert and Annie Joyce Harrington, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her father, Supt. Robert L Harrington, Sr.; grandparents, Arthur and Shelly Harrington and Ozola Eichelberger and sister Cynthia Diane Jennings.

Sis. Brenda was a graduate of Hot Springs High School in 1984. She was raised in the Church of God in Christ Faith. An active member of Unity Church of God in Christ. She felt the "call "into ministry at the young age of 12. Sis. Brenda was ordained in 2015 as Pastor of Greater Works Empowerment Ministries. She loved her church family dearly and always found joy in praying for the flock.

Brenda was saved, sanctified, holy ghost-filled and in the army of the Lord. She served in many capacities: District Chairlady Youth Department, Choir Director for 20 years, Evangelism Department, Hospitality Department, and Pastor's Aid Committee of all Hot Spring AR, St Louis, MO, and New Jersey, NJ areas.

Her survivors include; her daughters LaQuonda (Matthew) Hamilton Arlington, TN, Shakara (John) Green-Thomas St. Louis, MO, and Sharon Gray Hot Springs, AR, her grandchildren, Ashuntee Hill Arlington, TN, Davion Lewis Hot Springs, AR, Josiah Muhammad, Jeremiah Green, Shemiah Green, and Jermaine Whitfield Jr all of St. Louis, MO., her mother, Annie Harrington; her siblings, Robert (Sandra) Harrington, Jr., Terri (Derrick) Pickens and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 1:00 pm. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Unity Church of God in Christ 200 Gardner St. Hot Springs, AR 71913. The burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery 3077 E. Grand Ave. Hot Springs, AR 71901.
