Carol Ann Taylor, 79, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, transitioned on Thursday, January 29, 2026. She was born on September 15, 1946, to Edward Y. Zelina and Anna Zelina (nee Cerny).

Carol is preceded in death by her parents and by her beloved husband, Kenneth Jones.

She was a graduate of John Adams High School in Cleveland, Ohio. Carol lived a life rooted in faith and simple joys. She was a devoted follower of Christ, a lifelong cat lover, and never far from a good cup of coffee. In her quiet moments, she found happiness working crossword puzzles, reading mystery novels, and enjoying adult coloring books.

Carol shared a special connection with Gospel Light Baptist Church in Hot Springs, where her faith was nurtured and strengthened.

Carol leaves to cherish her memory her children: Tina (Steven) Marvel and Thomas Arnold (Victoria Forness). She is also survived by her siblings: Janice Rand and Ronald (Maureen) Zelina. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Leviathan Taylor, Justus Taylor, Trinity (Austin) Moore, and Lilith Finley (Joey Oldenbroek). Her extended family and loved ones, including Jennifer (Erick) Butler, Brian Rand (Loni Patterson), and friends.
