Obituary

In her 50 th season of life, Carrie Rae Walker transitioned on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. She was born March 9, 1972, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Booker T. Walker and Darless Walker-Jackson.

Carrie was the oldest girl born to Darless. Growing up she loved all her sisters and brothers as well as her extended family. She was educated in the Hot Springs School District and began working at Denny's and worked there for many years. Her last job would be George Webb Restaurant (Wisconsin).

Early in life, Carrie developed a love for children, she loved children, and she really loved children. And when she became a "Mom" her heart and love for children grew even greater. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her nieces/nephews as her own. Unconditional love was her foundation. Family and Friends were the heart of who she was.

Carrie's spirit would light up any room she walked into! She loved the colors pink and baby blue, Baby Phat, butterflies, getting her nails done was a must, Betty Boop, sipping on a Dr. Peeper, and if you needed something decorated, Carrie was the girl that could do it. She could transform the simple into the Awwww. She also loved to do any kind of arts and crafts. The Casino was her spot to hang out.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Julia Walker and Jena "GiGi" Floyd; Son, Johnathan Walker, and Curtis J. Walker (Nephew/son).

Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, Darless (Nicholas) Bailey, Quinne (Chrissianna) Walker, Carrington Walker, Curtis L.
