Apr 30, 1949 — Oct 17, 2025
If you're reading this, it means I've finally decided to trade in my golf clubs for a set of angel wings. I was born on April 30, 1949, and after a full and beautiful life. Pancreatic cancer shortened my life, but not my spirit.
I've been blessed with an incredible family and a circle of friends who have made my life so rich. I was preceded in death by my wonderful parents, Ardis and Paul Mikoloyck, my sister Carolyn, and my brothers James and Robert, who I'm sure were waiting to greet me with open arms.
I leave behind my loving husband, Bill, who shared in so many of life's adventures and stood beside me through it all. I'm also survived by my cherished children, Dave and Shelly, and their beautiful families, grandchildren, and precious great-grandson; each one the light of my life. My sister, Kathleen Mikoloyck, and brother, Greg Mikoloyck, will carry forward our family's laughter, stories, and strength. I'm grateful as well for my nieces and nephews, each of whom brought their own special joy into my world. And of course, my faithful companion with four paws and the biggest heart, our dog, Jimmy.
I've always believed in living life with joy, whether that meant spending a sunny afternoon on the golf course, tending to my flowers, or laughing over coffee (or something stronger) with my cherished group of girlfriends. Those moments, simple and shared, were the heart of my happiness.
So please, remember me not with sadness, but with a smile. Play a round of golf, enjoy a good cup of coffee, or tell a story that makes someone laugh. Just promise me one thing: don't let anyone take a mulligan in my memory!
