Clifton Lee Knox, 78, peacefully transitioned from this life on December 28, 2025, at his home. Clifton was born on December 1, 1947, in Arkansas to Lee Knox and Lucy Wells.

Clifton was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bobby Knox, and two sisters, Dorothy Knox-Brunt and Sharon Knox-Dowell.

Clifton received his early education at Park Elementary School in Arkadelphia, attended Langston High School, and later graduated from Hot Springs High School.

Clifton was united in marriage to Kathryn Tripp (Crossley) earlier in life. Although the marriage was short-lived, he remained a devoted father and family man.

Clifton was employed with Ouachita Vo-Tech, where he learned valuable trade skills that he later applied to his passion for repairing lawn mowers and working with his hands. A man of faith, Clifton was ordained at St. Thomas Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. W. J. Thomas.

Clifton was known for his love of cars, his deep affection for animals, and his enjoyment of music and dancing. He also took pride in building houses and working on projects that reflected his strong work ethic and craftsmanship.

Clifton leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Ericka Knox-Mahone; one brother, Charles Knox; two sisters, Catherine Knox Sanders, Deborah Knox-Branham; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
