Curtis Smith Anderson, 51 of Hot Springs, Arkansas, transitioned on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Curtis was born on August 6, 1974, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. 

Curtis attended Watson Chapel Schools, where he began forming the many friendships that would define his life. Curtis was known as a friend to many and a stranger to none. His open heart, kind spirit, and easy smile drew people in and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Curtis was deeply loved by all who knew him, and he loved them just as deeply. He had a gift for connecting with others, always able to find common ground and make people feel seen and valued. His warmth and genuine nature followed him wherever he went.

Curtis is survived by his mother, Debbie Anderson, and his father, Harold Anderson, of Hardeeville, South Carolina; his sister, Kristi Griffin, of Midway, Georgia; his nephew, Alex Griffin, of Kansas City, Missouri; and his niece, Anna Jensen, of Ellabell, Georgia, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
