Pastor Daniel Lee Turner, 70, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. He was born on April 11, 1951, to Percy Turner and Zelma Turner Callahan in Malvern, Arkansas.

Both parents preceded him in death as well as his siblings; Ervin Granger Turner, Ruby E. Cunningham, Percy Cole, and Barney Cole.

While pastoring at Gospel Mission Church of God in Christ, he also worked at Arkansas Aluminum Alloys. Pastor Daniel Lee Turner and Palestine Turner married one another in August and would have been married for 49 years.

He leaves his precious memories with his children; Curtis (Jamie Combs) of Little Rock, AR, and Latasha (JT) Young of Hot Springs, AR. He also leaves his 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. His 1 surviving brother; George Turner, and 10 sisters; Loretta Pilgram, Vivian Ann Clayton, Brenda Womack, Lupece Turner, Tracy Cole, Betty Kelly, Shirley Brooks, Sarha Ann Turner, and Marleen Turner-Smith. He also has a host of nieces, nephews, and family members that will cherish and continue to love him.

Pastor Daniel Lee Turner's favorite bible verse was: Hosea 4:6

"My people perish for the lack of knowledge."
