Darius Marquis Lott, 31 of Hot Springs, Arkansas transitioned on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Darius was a man whose life journey was a testament to love, faith, and perseverance. He was born on August 3, 1991, to Ms. Lashondra Lott and Mr. Stanley Long in Hot Springs, AR.
Darius at an early age, he found solace in his faith, confessing Christ and becoming a dedicated member of Haven United Methodist Church in Hot Springs. He carried his devotion throughout his life, inspiring those around him to embrace compassion and love.
Darius pursued his education at Hot Springs High School and Lakeside High School. Known for his passion for basketball, he relished in pickup games, displaying his skills with enthusiasm. He also found joy in friendly spades competitions, and his infectious laughter and energy made him one of the loudest and most cherished players at the table. Music held a special place in his heart, and his artistic talent shone through the many songs he recorded, leaving a legacy of creative expression.
Darius was a person with a heart of gold. His warm smile and charismatic personality had the power to light up any room and touch the hearts of everyone he encountered. He had an innate kindness and willingness to help others, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him. The words "boundless love," "determination," and "perseverance" beautifully describe Darius. Despite facing numerous obstacles, his unyielding spirit, love, and faith allowed him to fight bravely throughout his life's journey.
On May 19, 2023, Darius united in holy matrimony with his beloved wife, Janique Lott, creating a bond that strengthened their love and commitment.
Darius leaves behind a multitude of loved ones, including his parents, Lashondra Pritrice Lott and Stanley (Brandy) Long; his cherished Wife, Janique Lott; his children: Jaseion Cooper, Aantrelle Self, Andrew Bryant, Ajiyah Bryant, and Ayla Bryant. All of Hot Springs, AR. his siblings: Ja'von Long, of Nacogdoches, Tx, Aaron Harris, Eric Wallace, Meyah Long, Janelle Wallace., all of Hot Springs, AR., Kendall Long, and Kelsey Dawn, of Bryant, AR., his in-laws Raymond (Janie) Crawford, of Hot Springs, AR. his aunts; Kimberly Lott of Cumming, GA. Tanya Parker of Canton, MS. His uncles; Vantriss Long of Hot Springs. Glasper Brown of Hot Springs, AR. Leslie (Jonathan) Price of Pine Bluff, AR. Royal, Chris (LaCrecia) Brown of Dallas, TX his Grandparents; Wille Lott of Clinton, MS. Hester Marie Lott of Hot Springs, AR. Sharon "Kay" Long of Pine Bluff, AR his Great Grand Parents; Maggie Travis of Canton, MS. His Great Aunts; Betty Hargon (Sam) Wesley of Gainesville, FL. Frankie Hargon of Nashville, TN. Mamie Long of Hot Springs, AR. Angela Brown of Hot Springs, AR. Roxanne Carter of Hot Springs, AR Great Uncles: Wille Hargon of Canton, MS. his Nieces Jamya and Erielle Wallace. Among those who held a special place in his heart were his dear friends: Tiffany Wells, Cherie Reed, Kavaucey Lewis, Chris Hicks, and Isacc "Ike" Robinson. Their unwavering friendship enriched Darius's life with joy and love.
