Obituary

Desani De'wan Jerrico Neal, 23, of Hot Springs, passed away July 3, 2021, in Saline County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Peoria, IL, on January 3, 1998, to Charlie and Everlena Neal.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, John and Sarah Utsey and Roland and Irene Neal of Arkansas and two uncles: Burnis and Gregory Turner.

At a young age, Jerrico accepted Christ into his life at Haven United Methodist Church, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Lake Hamilton High School Class of  2016, Jerrico had various jobs, more resent at Absolute Retail Solution. His life included spending time with his family, watching and playing basketball, and expressing his love for swimming and anything outside with lauasloghter-filled conversations.

Those left behind to remember the life, love, and passion of Jerrico are: his mother Everlena Neal of Clarksville, TN; six brothers: Patrick Lawson of Little Rock, AR, Tony Lawson of Waldo, AR, Pierre Adair, Dequevlon Neal, Zyshonne Neal all of Hot Springs, AR, and Meshach Neal of Clarksville, TN; eight sisters, Denise Neal of Detroit, MI, Kim Nesbitt of Hot Springs, AR, Marva Turner of Stephens, AR, Umojania Neal of Clarksville, TN, Jerka (Jason) Johnson of Houston, TX, and Kathy Edward of Rockford, IL, Peachlyn Neal of Hot Springs, AR, Sharmain (Robert) Mosly of Little Rock, AR; four uncles: Richard (Lavern) Turner of Camden, AR, Michael (Betty) Turner of Stephens, AR, Freddie (Doris) Turner of Flint, MI, and Larry (Florida) Turner of Stanton, TN; and two Aunts: Alice (Shelly) Tolbert of Cleveland, OH and Cynthia Adair of Stephens, AR, also his very special aunt Lisa Washington of Benton, AR. Three nieces whom he loved and were special to him: Remi, Ella, and Zynlee Neal. Jerrico also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends to cherish his memories.

Visitation will be at Carrigan Memorial, Friday, July 09, 2021, from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 1:30 pm at Haven United Methodist Church, 107 Burroughs St, Hot Springs, AR., with Pastor Peaches Smith officiating.
