Doris Ann Adcox age 77 of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2019.  She was born May 27, 1942 in Hot Springs to Lawrence and Mary Condron Pennington. They preceded her in death as well as her husband, Virgil Paul Adcox, Jr, and her granddaughter, Sarah Adcox.

Doris attended Lake Hamilton High School and Grand Ave Baptist Church.  She had a special love for the holidays especially Christmas.  She loved collecting all type of items concerning Christmas.  Doris also loved puzzles, cooking and her family, especially her son, Michael.  Doris had a love for Elvis that was second to none.

Heaven's gain is our loss but she has a better seat to look over her people.  Doris was a loving wife, mother, and sister.  She made many sacrifices.  Although she had many medical issues, she never missed a game that her son played.  Her son is so grateful that through God's plan she lived long enough to say, "I'm proud of you son." She will be greatly missed by so many.  Love is a flower, and we are the seeds.

Survivors include her loving and devoted son, Michael Adcox; two sisters, Sherry (Ed) Skelton, and Judy Connley; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

A special thanks to The Pines Nursing and Rehab (North) for the love and care shown to Doris during her stay in the nursing home.

A memorial service will be announced.
