Dorothy R. Tucker, age 82, of Hot Springs, Arkansas received her wings January 21, 2021. Dorothy was born April 23, 1938 in Delark, AR. to Mack Henry and Arilla Brim. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her Siblings; Mack Henry Jr., Elizabeth (Lizzy), Willie L. (Bo), Lucille (Cille), Billy J. (Touch-it), Purnella M. (Mammie), Marguerite (Shorty), Mae Francis, Sally Ann, Henry C, and David Brim.

Dorothy believed in rising early and working hard, spending her labor years working as a cook at the Bohemia restaurant and the Arlington hotel as a housekeeper where she retired from. To those that knew and loved her they knew her door was always open, ready to offer support, a laugh, a meal, or an ear for listening. With an invincible spirit sacrificing so much of herself you can see the garden of values, character, and virtue in the lives of all the family this matriarch has sown. With a simple look she could give love, pride, security, and caution. One of her most famous quotes when one stepped out of line "You better put your head back on your shoulders."

Dorothy is survived by her children: Debbie Robinson of Benton, Linda Booker, Douglas (Sondra) Thomas of Hot Springs, Mark Thomas, Ricky (Debbie)Thomas, Dennis Tucker of San Diego. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

The family of the late Dorothy Tucker acknowledges with sincere appreciation, your prayers, and all acts of kindness shown at this time of bereavement.

Memorial service will be held, Friday January 29th, at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Service at 1pm.
