Edith D. Reedy, 62 of Hot Springs, Ar. transitioned on Friday, August 25, 2023. She was born in El Dorado, Arkansas to Rockefeller Paige and Thelma Mack.

Edith is preceded in death by her parents.

Edith was a longtime member of Gospel Light. She was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many,  leaving behind a legacy of inspiration, strength, and unwavering support for those on the path to recovery.

To those who knew her, Edith was not just a mentor or a friend but a guardian angel who saved lives and mended broken spirits. Her dedication to helping others overcome their struggles was nothing short of extraordinary. Edith's commitment to recovery was absolute, and she accepted no excuses, believing in the potential for transformation in every person she encountered. For those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with Edith, her impact was profound. Her unwavering belief in the strength of those battling addiction inspired countless individuals to find hope, resilience, and the determination to reclaim their lives.

Her compassion, support, and love will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her. She was not only a mentor but also a dear friend who was there in times of need, offering guidance and encouragement when it was needed most. Though Edith has left us, her spirit remains, reminding us to embrace the challenges of life with courage and perseverance. She showed us that recovery is possible, that lives can be rebuilt, and that the power of love and support can transform even the darkest of days into a journey of hope and healing.

Edith's legacy lives on in the memories of her only son Travon Reedy.

The memorial service will be Friday, September 15, 2023, at Gospel Light 600 Garland Ave Hot Springs, Ar 71913.
