Edward Von Harris of Alexandria, LA. Kformerly of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019. He born February 14, 1950 in Little Rock. He was a long-term employee of the United States Forestry Service and retired after 37 years.

He graduated from Central High School in Little Rock and Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR.  He was a member of the Arkansas Tech football team and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

Survivors include his wife, Oleta Harris of Alexandria; his mother, Bertha Harris of Little Rock; daughter, Traci Harris of North Little Rock,  brothers, Elijah (Helen) Harris of Hot Springs, Lawrence Harris of Little Rock, Lonnie (Gladys) Harris of Conway, Carl (Joyce) Harris of Little Rock;  sister, Patricia Harris of Little Rock; former wife, Brenda Harris of Russellville, step-son, Gaberiel Penny of Wiesden, Germany and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Progressive Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
