Elery Lee Dendy, 62, of Hot Springs, passed away on August 30, 2022, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Elery was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Violet Dendy.

Elery is preceded in death by his wife Debra Dendy, and grandparents Samuel and Elizabeth Dendy.

He went to high school in Altheimer, Arkansas, and attended some college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He married Debra on May 20, 1991, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He worked as a tax preparer at Jackson Hewitt and served as an ordained minister.

Elery is survived by two daughters Stephanie King, Monique Dendy, and Danielle West, his Mother Violet Dendy, his sisters; Brenda Dendy, Tami Dendy, Sharon Gude Dendy, his brother Jimmy Dendy, his grandchildren Gunner, Cannon, Keir, Cartier, and Kingston, his son in law Rico King. A host of other nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends

The visitation will be Sunday, September 4, 2022, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Carrigans Funeral Memorial Funeral Service 336 E. Grand Ave.
