Eugene Edward "Gene" "Skip" Wentz age 89, of Hot Springs died, Monday, June 12. 2017. He was born November 15, 1927 in Chicago, IL to Eugene and Nancy Hayes Wentz. They preceded him in death as well as his wife, Irene Wentz; a step-son, Theodore. Skip was a former insurance salesman, Real Estate Agent and retired from the Job Corp. He loved cars and was in the Lake Region Amateur Sports Car Club. He was a veteran of the Unites States Army. Gene was of the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include his sister, Nancy Goslin of Chicago, IL; his caregiver and friend, Jackie Dobson and her family of Hot Springs, AR; a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Friday, in the Chapel of Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services.
