Florence Polk passed away, Friday, December 1, 2017.  She was born June 18, 1923 in Prescott, AR to the late James and Lou Banks.  She was a former member of Eureka Baptist Church.  She is a present member of St. Mark Baptist Church.

Although she had no children of her own she reared Jerry and Ocie Jean Timmons as her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, and her daughter, Ocie Jean Norris.

Her survivors include her son, Jerry Timmons; grandson, Patrick (Gina) Timmons, Sr.; great grandchildren, LaToya Timmons and Patrick Timmons, Jr. several nieces and nephews including, Dale Gulley who was also her caretaker; a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial celebration will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. Mark Baptist Church with Pastor Donald R. Crossley, Sr. officiating.
