Gerda Stijakovich, 95 of Hot Springs, Arkansas transitioned on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

She is predeceased in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters.

She was a dedicated member of the Trinity Church for 20 years. Her passion for cooking was unparalleled; she had a magical touch in the kitchen, transforming everyday food. She had an insatiable love for dining out. Exploring new flavors and savoring different cuisines. She was known for her tradition of spreading joy through the gift of candy. Every week, she made it her mission to bring smiles to the congregation by sharing sweets, During her downtime she loved watching a source of entertainment that allowed her to unwind and find comfort in the stories she loved.

Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The Funeral Service will be Monday, August 14, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Trinity Church 670 Panama Street Hot Springs, AR 71913, The Burial will follow after the service at Saint Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Cemetery 300-484 Mt Riante Rd. Hot Springs National Park, AR 71913
