Glendean Jackson Davis was born on March 4, 1943, to the late Glen Jackson of Little Rock, AR, and Elizabeth Adams Jackson of Saratoga, AR.  Her parents were very proud of Glendean and all that she had accomplished.  She attended Douglas Elementary School and graduated from Langston High School, class of 1960.  She attended Hampton (Institute) University located in Hampton, VA, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree.  She went on to obtain a Master of Science degree from Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA.

While residing in Harrisburg, PA, she became a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Walter W. Piper, JR. She served as a trustee missionary and was the church treasurer from 1982 until she moved back to her hometown of Hot Springs, AR.
