Obituary

Glenn D. Coleman, season of life left this world on Friday, March 15, 2019, at St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA.  Although he is with the Lord, Glen had a blessed life.  He was born January 24, 1953, in Fordyce, AR, the eldest son of Bobbie Jean Jacobs and the late Nathaniel Woods.

Glenn joined Mt. Tabor Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Dallas County School District. Glenn later joined the Army. He worked at Georgia Pacific before moving to Milwaukee, WI where he worked for a steel factory for several years.  He later moved to California and worked as a roofer.  He loved to cook and loved music.  He actually cried at the news that Marvin Gay had died.  He was a loving man with a big Kool aid smile.  He made friends wherever he went.

He leaves behind his mother, Bobbie Jacobs of Hot Springs; his son, Kevin Sanders of Little Rock; several grandchildren; his brothers, Michael Jones, Greg Andrews and Antonio McCoy all of Hot Springs, Mark Woods and Tony Woods of California; sisters, Naomi Ballard and Matisha Parham both of Hot Springs, and Natalie of Milwaukee, WI; uncles, Wayne  (Ruth) Jones of Pine Bluff, Sally Shaw and Big Man of Carthage, and Willie Mae Jones of Rison; several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
