Obituary

Heather Marie White Garner, 46 (21), of Hot Springs, AR, went to her heavenly home Sunday, August 21, 2022.

Heather was born January 6, 1976, in Little Rock, AR to Dorothy Marie White Garner, Marvin White (biological father), and Lawrence Edward Garner (dad).

She loved God, her children, and her family. Her hobbies were cooking, hanging with her family and friends, being a mama bear (when it came to her kids), and decorating, especially around Christmas time. She was a member of Immanuel Christian Fellowship Church and its choir.

Heather graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1993 and soon after received her licensed practical nurse (LPN) degree.

Heather was a nurse for many medical facilities throughout her nursing career.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Retha Mae Burnem, her second to the youngest son, Christopher Isaiah Moses Anderson, her father, Lawrence Edward Garner, her uncle Henry Dale Burnem, and her honorary sister Jackie Ferguson and other family members.

She is survived by her mother Dorothy Garner; her children John Anderson, Jazmond Anderson, Tyretha Lenox, and Aydond Garner; her brother Lawrence Garner Jr.; her sister Jennifer Garner; her aunts Shirley Garner-Owens, Shirleen White, and Diane L. White; her uncles Harriel Dean White, Eric White, Archie Ray Burnem and Bob Owens; her cousins Jacques White, Phil B Henry IV, Bruce Moore and Rhonda LaRonda Berry-Montgomery; her nieces Essence A'maya Smith, Constance Ann Marie Smith and Jaelynn Samara Smith; her great niece Royalty Taylor Lee Banks; her first grandchild Ayva Marie Garner; her nephew-in-law Chris Banks; her honorary sisters Anthymelia Thomas, Brittany Webb, Kesha Selman, Samantha Smith and Rosaline Gordon and a host of other nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Memorial services will be Saturday, August 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Christian Fellowship Church, 1536 E. Grand Ave. in Hot Springs, AR.
