Malachi Wayne Maxie infant son of Destiny Luker and Joseph Dewayne Maxie, Jr was born, Monday, January 13, 2020, and traveled with the angels on Friday, January 31, 2020. Although his short-lived life was spent at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS) he touched the lives of many. His passing has left his footprint in the heart of his parents; his grandparents, Michelle Young and Orlando Coleman, Joseph Maxie, Sr, and Paula Mills; his great grandparents, Patricia Luker and Rex Martin, Cherly and Allen Hosey, Sr and Rosie and Otis Maxie, Sr; a host of aunts, uncles and extended family and the staff of UAMS who cared for him during his tenure at UAMS.

A graveside service to remember the life of Malachi will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, February 3, 2020, at Morning Star Cemetery.  Please bring your lawn chairs and wear bright colors in the memory of Malachi.
