Jacqueline Michelle Ferguson, also known as "Jackie" or "Baby Jack", 46, of Hot Springs, AR passed away on January 30, 2022.
Predeceased by her mother Wilberdine Nolen Howard, father Vincent Maurice (Jackie) Ferguson Tidwell, and one brother Maurice Tidwell.
Jackie was born on October 13, 1975, to the late Jackie Ferguson and Wilberdine Nolen Howard in Hot Springs, AR. She was a graduate of Hot Springs High School, Class of 1994. She obtained her two Master's Degrees in Business and Organizational Leadership Management. Jackie was always a faithful member involved in the church her entire life. She was committed to and involved in several ministries while attending some of the most prominent churches in the area including Union Missionary Baptist Church, St. Mark Baptist Church, Greater St. Paul, and New Faith Christian Ministries . She was well known and respected in the local community as well as around the state of Arkansas at large. A very present and impactful community activist involved in numerous programs and organizations including Stop the Violence Coalition of Hot Springs, NAACP, MLK programs, Webb Community Center, and many more. She was very active in church and long-time leader and member of the Southwest District Youth Department. Jackie worked for more than 13 years with Selected Funeral & Life Insurance Company.
Jackie is survived by her beloved family, including her son Malachai Fontenot, daughter Sabrina Broomfield, brothers: James (Tashiba) Banks, Jackie Tidwell, Vinson Ferguson, George Sullivan, Terry Bailey, sisters: Amanda Ferguson, Evonne Lindsey, LaTaschya Harris, Her Special friend Jerome Hammock, Bonus father Tommy Howard, her Special Aunt, Gladys Jones, who was also her caregiver and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends that she leaves to cherish in her heart forever.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and funeral services will follow immediately on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Visitors Chapel A.M.E. Church in Hot Springs, AR.
