James (Jimbo) Myers age 90  passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 31, 2018.  He was born in Alton Missouri on September 27, 1928. He fought in the Korean and Vietnam war. After 21 years in the US Military retired and relocated to Hot Springs, AR in 1973.

He is preceded in earth by his parents, (3) sisters, (1) brother, and son James Neal. He is survived by (1) brother Bill (Mary) Myers of Farmington, Missouri, daughter Nora Sheffield, grandchildren, Sarah (Jimmie) Hollandsworth, Eric Brown all of Hot Springs, AR, great grandchildren Kaylee Nichols of Memphis, TN, Kynzie Hollandsworth of Hot Springs, AR and several nieces and nephews.

He loved many things in life but the one thing he loved the most was his family. Two things he loved almost as much as he loved his family was Classic Country music and the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved to bowl and do crossword puzzles, and he loved to cook. He was an amazing chef. He will be greatly missed.

The family of James would like to give special thanks to Dr. Richard Finch and staff, Dr. Rajesh Shroff and staff, Kindred Home Health and Hospice for all the love and care you gave to him.

The memorial service will be held Friday January 4, 2019 at 10:00 A.M.
