James Edwin Sears, 83, of Hot Springs, AR, transitioned peacefully on July 3, 2025—just two days before his 84th birthday. He was born on July 5, 1941, to Pete Sears and Edith Florine.

After completing his education, Mr. Sears proudly served in the United States Army. Upon returning home, he began a long and respected career in construction, specializing in architectural work.

He will be deeply missed by his loving family and all who knew him.
