Obituary

James Randel Ward, 38, of Hot Springs, transitioned on September 10, 2024, joining his Lord and Savior. James was born on February 11, 1986, to Roger and Cheryl Ward.

James known for his big heart and deep love for family and friends, James touched countless lives and was cherished by all who knew him. He had a passion for spending time with loved ones, enjoying the lake, and riding his Harley. James was a proud member of the Brotherhood of Southern Cross 1829 B.S.C., where he was affectionately known as "Grease Monkey." His bond with his brothers and sisters in the club ran deep. A master mechanic, James learned his craft from his father and worked alongside him for many years.

James is survived by his loving wife, Edith Ward; his parents, Roger (Cheryl) Ward; his sister, Lee Ann (Chris) Pascoe; his nephew, Skylar Pascoe; and his nieces, CaiLee and Penelope Pascoe. His best friend, Jesse White (Amanda Kilpatrick), along with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Ward and Rash families.

The celebration of James' life will take place on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Brady Mountain Pavilion #1. All who knew him are invited to attend. Please bring a chair and a dish to share.
