Jeffrey Allen Knox, 57, of Oakland, California, passed away on November 8, 2023. Jeffrey was born July 31, 1966, and is the son of Lena Knox and Charles Knox and was a native of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Jeffrey was known to many as "Jake." He graduated from Hot Springs High where he was an active member of the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) and marching band for three years. Jeffrey played the saxophone and sat in 1st chair. Jeffrey was an avid animal lover and raised his dogs, Ravine and Cupcake. Jeffrey had a passion for cooking and began shadowing chefs in Hot Springs to learn new techniques and cuisines. After high school graduation, Jeffrey relocated to Oakland, California to pursue his cooking career and remained until his passing.

Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Lena Knox, father, Charles Knox, Sr., son, Austin Knox, sister, Loretta Todd, brother, Charles Knox, brother, James Knox, sister, Michelle Knox, and brother, Micheal Knox.

The Knox family wishes to extend their gratitude to the City of Alameda, California for assisting with the end-of-life process for Jeffrey Knox.

There will not be a service.
