Jerald Jermaine (Nin) Porter, 47, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, transitioned on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. He was born on March 11, 1978, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Jessie Walliams and Bobbie Porter.

Jerald was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Williams; his aunt, Gloria Chappell; his niece, Chasity Moorehead; and his nephew, Deunta Porter.

Jerald graduated from Turrell High School. He loved dancing and listening to music and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Jerald leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Bobbie Porter-Robinson of Trumann, Arkansas; his daughter, Jalesa Porter of Hot Springs, Arkansas; the mother of his daughter, Teresa Porter; his stepson, Tyrese Davis, and two grandchildren, Damri'a Hunter and DeVonjan Hill. He is also survived by his siblings: Delunta Porter of Crawfordsville, Arkansas; Timika Porter of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Adrian Moore and Andrial Moore of West Memphis, Arkansas; and Chestine Blockmon of Memphis, Tennessee. His best friends are Bob McKisick, Tan Scott, Willie Fox, Kay Fox, and Stephanie Russel. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Family Park at 3:00 p.m. A second celebration of life will be on March 21, 2026, from 2:00- 4:00 pm at The Golden School in Turrell, Arkansas.
