Jeremy Lee Simms-Watson age 22 of Hot Springs faced his untimely death Monday, September 22, 2014. He was born February 26, 1992 in Hope, AR to George and Yolanda Rogers Watson. Jeremy attended Mineral Springs High School. He was a former member of Tabernacle C.M.E. Church in Schaal, AR and a current member of Haven U.M.C. He was predeceased by his sister, Ebony Watson; grandparents, Elijah Watson, Bobby and Glenda Vickerstaff.

Survivors include his son, Jeremy Simms of Hot Springs; his father, George Watson, Sr of Mineral Springs; his mother, Yolanda Watson of Hot Springs; siblings, Denise Watson of Hot Springs, George Watson, Jr, Scottanya (Roderick) Scott, Michelle Watson and Sabrina Watson all of Little Rock; grandparents; Clyde and Ruth Ann Rogers of Texarkana, AR and Beryl Watson of Detroit, MI; step-siblings, AnReckez and Amanda Daniels; step mother, Shelia Simms of Rosston; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 26, 2014 in Tabernacle C.M.E. Church 1670 Schaal Road Schaal, AR with the Rev. Chester Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
