Jessie Lee Stewart Sr. (Reco), age 67 of Rogers/Hot Springs, AR passed away on April 24, 2021. Jessie was born to L. J. and Rosie Stewart on November 27, 1953, in Stamps AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Roy Robert Ellis; his sisters, Louvenia Ellis and Cathleen Ellis, his nephew, Richard Dewayne Ellis, his maternal grandparents, Tatum and Candy Stewart- Webb, and paternal grandparents Norman and Della Stewart .

Jessie graduated from George Wythe High School in Wytheville, VA. He later met the love of his life, Merdise Jenkins, and she became his wife.  During their union, they welcomed a son, Jessie Lee Stewart Jr.  To provide for his family, Jessie worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years until he retired from the workforce.  His family and friends remember him as a kind, generous, and passionate man. He encouraged others to pursue things that made them happy. His hobbies included playing the guitar, spending social time with his friends and family, playing dominos, and fishing.

Jessie is survived by his son Jessie Lee Stewart Jr. (Mary); his sisters, Luerene Burris (James Gardner), Rose Marie Walker (Kenny Blevins); his brother, Steve Wyrick-Ellis;  his grandchildren Jessie L. Stewart III, DesTiny Stewart, Calliah Stewart, and DeMarco Stewart; his special friend, Mike Ross, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Visitation is Friday, April 30, 2021, from 3:30 to 6:pm at Carrigan Memorial Chapel. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers,
