John Henry Cummings, 91 of Hot Springs, Arkansas peacefully went to sleep on June 5, 2023. He was born on September 16, 1931, to Amaziah and Dessie Cummings in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

John is preceded in death by; his parents, and his faithful wife Clara Mae Cummings. three sisters, one who was a faithful witness to Flozell Wells, and two brothers Edith Cummings, Ed Cummings, his step-daughters Ann Bowie, and Catherine Washington.

John was loved by so many, especially his son Vincent (Tawana) Cummings, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and six step-children, Larry Rome, of Lewisville Texas, Yolanda (Melvin) McCloud, of Gurdon Arkansas, Lorraine Bowie, Lori Williams, both of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, three nieces Joy Beard, Eddie Mitchell, and Callie Taylor, A host of other relatives, Jeff Wells, Kenan Mitchell, Sonja Wells, Jordan Wells, and Whitney Wells all of Texas. Nicholas, AJ, Steve in Virginia, and many more. A special grandson who he talked about daily that helped him throughout the years Brandon Bowie. His other grandchildren are Shawn Cummings and Shane Cummings.

John was also part of a big loving Jehovah's Witness family whom he truly cherished. He also Cherished the hope that Jehovah promised and talked about it frequently. He spoke of knowing he would fall asleep in death. And he will sleep until Jehovah calls his name from the grave, and he will answer.

Job;14:15  You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.

The memorial service will be Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses 2018 E. Grand Ave Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901.
