Obituary

Jonathan Dewayne (Nutty) Prather, 39 of Hot Springs, AR. He entered into rest on Sunday, November 13, 2022. He was born January 26, 1983, in Hot Springs, AR to John and Linda Prather.

He was a graduate of Hot Springs High School in 2001. He was active in sports: football, track, and basketball. He became a member of  Haven United Methodist Church at an early age. Shortly after graduation, he started as an assistant trainer to his dad. During that time, he developed a passion for horses. He touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity and maintain his trademark sense of humor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved to float the river with his friends, and never went anywhere without his flip-flops.

Those left to cherish his memories. His beloved parents are John (Linda) Prather, his children Jonathan Prather Jr., and Evalynn Prather, his sister Leslie Prather and his brother Bernard (Terra) Prather. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2022, 1:00-6:00 pm at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Srv. 336 E. Grand Hot Springs, Ar 71901. The memorial service will be Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 2:00 pm at  Haven United Methodist Church 107 Burroughs St. Hot Springs AR. 71913.
