Joseph Allen Byers, 48, of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Hot Springs, Arkansas, transitioned on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from complications while undergoing open-heart surgery. Joseph was born on February 21, 1977, in Malvern, Arkansas, to Harles Lee Byers and Frances D. Cogburn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest brother, David Lee Byers of Hot Springs.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memory his loving family: one brother, Jonathan Lee Byers of Hot Springs; three daughters, Hallie Marie Byers, Destiny Byers, and Brittany Byers, all of Hot Springs; two aunts, Gorgeann Price Gosvenor of Traskwood and Glenda (Byers) Holmes of Malvern; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
