Juanita Burton, age 92, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, peacefully transitioned on Monday, July 17, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 09, 1931, to Fed Summerville and Jane Perry in Pine Ridge, Arkansas.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Mark Burton. Though she may be gone, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

She lived a life filled with love and passion for various things. Juanita had a green thumb and found immense joy in gardening. Her culinary skills were exceptional, and she delighted in cooking delicious meals for her family and friends. An avid football fan, she cheered passionately for the San Francisco 49ers.

One of the defining aspects of Juanita's life was her unwavering faith in the Lord. She found solace and strength in her spirituality. Additionally, she cherished the simple pleasure of walking, which brought her peace and a sense of connection to the world around her.

Juanita was a lovely lady with a warm sense of humor. Her laughter could light up a room, and she was always ready to share a smile and make others laugh. Her compassionate nature and sense of humanity endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Lance Burton, William (Pastor Tanya) Burton, both of Hot Springs, AR, and Kenneth Burton of San Francisco, CA. She is also survived by her niece, Bobbie Gentry of Antioch, CA.

Juanita's legacy continues through her granddaughters: Jasmine Burton of Benton, AR, Keishonna Evans, and Tacarra Hill, both of Hot Springs, AR. Additionally, she leaves behind three great-granddaughters: Sincere, Nyla, and E'layzigh, who brought her immense joy and pride.
