Justin Julian-Patrick Carter, 18 of Hot Springs, AR passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. He was born on January 7, 2004, to Patrick Carter and Tanisha Witherspoon in Hot Springs AR.

Justin is preceded in death by his grandfather Randy Perie, Great Grandfather Van Jernigan, Uncle Reginald 'Shorty' Witherspoon, Great Uncle Levern Jernigan, Fred Witherspoon, Great Grandmother Momma Lou.

Justin attended Lake Hamilton High School and was to be a graduating senior class of 2022 in May. He was a member of the All-Arkansas-Red AAU basketball team with Coach Malcolm Bailey. Basketball was not only a pastime for Justin but also a passion. Justin loved encouraging others, spending time with family, and frequently checking in on his younger siblings.

Justin is survived by his parents; Tanisha Witherspoon, and Patrick Carter, his sisters, Amber Witherspoon, Charlie Carter, his brothers Roman Walker Jr., Jalen Carter, Justice Carter. His grandparents Linda (Richard) Moore, Wade (Patricia) Moore, Charles (Tuna) Carter, Great-grandmother. Genola Jernigan, his aunt's and uncle's Rashee Moore and Eric Fobbs, Jeanette (Mike) Keener, Isaiah (Terry) Jernigan, Mary (Michael) Washington, Emanuel (Shonda) Jernigan, Lisa Masey, Nikki Moore, Charles Carter Jr., Mondraul Jernigan, Latasha Carter, Wade Moore, Keira Carter, Daniel & Danielle Carter. Cousins, Africkah Carter, King & Bakari Fobbs, Myiesha & Rashee Jr. Moore, Adore Mattlock. A host of many more family and friends.

The Visitation will be Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 10:00 AM the Funeral begins at 12 noon at Trinity Church 630 Panama Street Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913.
