Obituary

Karen Denise Elliott Strong, 62 of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in Hot Springs, AR. She was born on January 5, 1961, to Earnest Joseph and Ruby Jo Elliott in Flint Michigan
Karen graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1980. She had a passion for fishing, bowling, and traveling, which she shared with her life partner Phillip Arnold and her beloved grandson Khalyn. She also cherished spa days with lunch and a love for lifetime movies and the ID channel with her only child Paige Strong.
Karen was adored for her ability to care for others after accepting Christ at a young age. Her faithfulness showed on her job. Karen worked at Chi St. Vincent Hospital for 30 years, where she was an inventory specialist and made lifetime friends. She was a hard worker who continue to remain dedicated to her job years after being diagnosed with an illness that caused her severe pain. She rarely complained about her health. She often said that complaining wouldn't change anything. But if she "fussed" at you for not taking care of yourself or handling your affairs, that meant she really loved you. She didn't like to be in photographs, but she had a smile that could warm your heart and a hearty laugh that left you beaming.
Karen was proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers Rodney Lewis and Roylee Elliott, and one sister Ruby Elaine Giles, her grandmother Georgia Etta Hill and her grandfather Lewis Turner; and three uncles Cleo Hill, Charles Turner, and Leon Turner, and one Aunt Martha Hendrix.
Karen leaves to honor her precious memories; her life partner Phillip Arnold of Hot Springs, Arkansas; her daughter Paige Strong (Antwon) of Hot Springs; her bonus daughter, Miracle Arnold of Little Rock, Arkansas; a bonus son Adrian (Chiara) Houff of Orlando, Florida; a grandson Khalyn Strong of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and four bonus grandchildren, Arianna, Sanai, Nylah Houff of Orlando, Florida; and Antonio Offord of Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother Joseph (Viola) Elliott of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two sisters Debra Elliott (Kerby) Haynes of Eads, Tennessee; and Etta Elliott (Michael) Ferrell of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
