Katreas Deonn Ellis age 37, of Little Rock passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 18, 2017. She was born February 20, 1980 in Hot Springs to Terry and Cynthia Berry Ellis. She was a graduate of McClellan High School Class of 1998. She continued her education by attending Pulaski Tech College and later graduating from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (ULAR). She also completed studies at Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School. Katreas was a very hard worker and an independent woman in her own rights. She overcame many adversities in her life while still making many accomplishments. She was the owner of Cutting Couture Beauty Salon and also worked for Great Clips. She was known as a Fashionish (Loved clothes and doing hair). She attended St. Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Mary Berry, Ada Ellis and Mae Lee Ellis; brother, Javor Ellis.
Survivors include her daughter, Yazmine Harrell of Bryant; her parents, Terry and Gwendel Ellis of Hot Springs; her mother, Cynthia Kanu of Killeen, TX; brothers, Orlando Ellis, Lionel Kanu and Jeremy Atkinson; sisters, Shatikka Scott, Danna Kittlin and Ajaihia Atkinson; grandparents, Georgia Jones and Alvie Ellis, Sr.; special friends, Jacquie Scott and Sharra Sims; a host of aunts, uncles and extended family.
A celebration of life will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Greater St. Paul Baptist Church 497 Crescent Ave where Rev. Kenneth R. Gulley is the pastor and Pastor James Frierson will deliver the eulogy.
