Keido LaVell Howard passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was the first born and only son born to Roosevelt and Jean Broomfield Howard on January 27, 1985 in Hot Springs, AR. Keido attended the Hot Springs School District and was a graduate of Hot Springs High School Class of 2004. He loved playing AAU Basketball and his children. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and riding his motorcycle. He was employed with Georgia Pacific in Gurdon, AR. Keido was a member of Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Odell and Mary Broomfield and his paternal grandfathers, James Howard and Clifford Jackson, Sr. and a host of extended family.
Those left to miss him in love include his parents, Roosevelt and Jean Howard; his sons, Kendauris "Ken" Holmes-Howard and A'Treal "A.J." Howard; his sister, Pauline L. Howard all of Hot Springs; his estranged wife, Tavanna Bell Howard and her daughter Chasity Bell both of Arkadelphia; his paternal grandmother, Julia Mae Jackson of Hot Springs; a special friend, Shanina Everett and her children; aunts and uncles, Freddie (Andrea') Strong, Odell Broomfield, Jr. (Lucinda Hunter), Patrick (Shawnta) Broomfield, Rosetta Anderson, Clifford (Andrea') Jackson, Jr. and Robert (Temika) Jackson all of Hot Springs, Orlando Cruz and Paldo Cruz both of Grand Prairie, TX, Elma Cruz of Las Vegas, NV and Sharun White of Monticello; great aunts, Joe Helen Webster and Rosie Glover; godmother, Annie Williams; goddaughter, A'marie'yana Thomas; and extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be 12:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Union Baptist Church 219 Gulpha Street with Rev Billy R. Wilson, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Open visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family request no pictures, videos or post of the visitation or funeral be posted on social media. Keido's passing has left a void in the heart of many, please respect the wishes of the family and lift them up in pray.
