Obituary

Kendall Devaughn Baugh Jr. 9, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on October 9, 2022, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Ar. Kendall was born March 8, 2013, in Hot Springs, AR to Kendall Baugh and Sheryl Watson.

Kendall is preceded in death by his father Kendall Devaughn Baugh Sr, and his grandfather John L. Watson Jr.

Kendell attended school at Chicot Elementary in Little Rock, Ar. He was diagnosed with cancer on November 3, 2018. Kendall said he was going to fight cancer until he couldn't fight anymore. Every day he woke up, he thanked God for another day. Kendall was a praying child. He talked to God whenever he was feeling some kind of way, rather it was emotional or physical. He loved God with ALL his heart. Kendall was told by the doctors two times that he wouldn't make it and proved them wrong each time. Kendall was on hospice for a year and was later discharged. One morning he woke up and told his mother that God told him everything was going to be ok. He loved his mother and sister dearly. He loved all of his family. He once told his mother that he wasn't scared to be with God, his daddy, and paw paw, however, he just wasn't ready to leave his mother, Aliyana, and the rest of his family. He was so sweet, caring and smart, and courageous. Kendall was the strongest person his mother and family knew. Kendall wasn't scared to go to his appointments or to have surgery. He looked forward to going to most of his appointments especially the MRI's because he loved when they would put him to sleep. He loved to eat 3 to 4 times a day if he could.  He loved batman, making TikTok videos, singing, and dancing. He also loved playing with his sister, money, watching his favorite shows, and talking mess.

Kendall is survived by his mother Sheryl Watson, two sisters Aliyana Baugh, Kamia Baugh, and one brother Kamari Baugh, all of Hot Springs, AR. his grandmas; Pamela Watson, Tyredia Johnson, his great grandmas; Carol Johnson Vicki Harris, Darlene Jimerson, and grandpa, Michael Baugh. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and endless supporters that followed his journey.
