Kenneth Dale Poe age 82, of Hot Springs Village passed away with his wife by his side on November 19,  2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Dewey and Ada May Hawkins Poe; brother Morris Poe; sister, Loyce Perry; and granddaughter, Charlie Poe.

Kenneth enjoyed photography, golf, watching football, NASCAR racing and most of all traveling to new and exciting destinations with his wife. He attended high school in Joplin, MO.  He later attended Missouri Southern State University.   He served with the Missouri National Guard's 203 ^rd Engineering Battalion in Joplin for many years. He retired from the Joplin Globe in 1981 and also worked several years for Sears Roebuck in Joplin and Springfield.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Linda Poe of Hot Springs Village; his sons, Howard Poe of Waco Texas and Duane (Shay) Luckie of Rogers, AR; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
