Obituary

Larry Charles Marshall, Jr., 37, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, transited on October 24, 2025, in Rockport, Arkansas. Larry was born on October 13, 1988, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Larry Marshall, Sr., and Cassandra Malone Dixon.

Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, John W. and Lucille Marshall, Thomas and Delores Dooley, and his aunt, Virginia Raye Lewis.

Larry was a proud graduate of the 2007 Hot Springs High School class. He attended St. Thomas Chapel. Larry was a proud Razorback fan who never gave up hope that "this season" would be the one, and a man who believed rules were merely suggestions. He loved the outdoors, whether it was hunting at sunrise, fishing until dark, or finding creative ways to avoid yard work in between. He had a gift for making life enjoyable, occasionally infuriating, and never dull. Whether he was out in the woods, glued to a game, or tinkering with something that didn't need fixing, Larry did it all his way.

Despite it all, we'll miss his larger-than-life presence, his laugh that could fill a room, and his uncanny ability to make even the simplest task an adventure. His family takes comfort knowing he's somewhere he can fish without a license, hunt without missing, and finally watch the Razorbacks win every game because heaven probably has better referees.

Larry leaves to cherish his memories four incredible kids, Kasandra, Aaliyah, Samara, Cullen, and Angie Marshall, the mother of his children, his parents, Larry Marshall, Sr., and Cassandra Malone Dixon, and his siblings, Marlena Marshall and Nina Dixon Gordon.  A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Who will never forget his humor, his heart, and his ability to turn even the simplest day into an adventure.

A celebration visitation of Larry's life will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Service, 336 E. Grand Ave, from 3-6 pm, where stories will be shared, laughter will be encouraged, and Razorback red will be the color of the day.
